Terms of participation:
1. The event is the tour and performance tour of Randonneurs Hongrie which has no connection with the Audax Club Parisien. We organize it as an independent (performance) tour.
2. The aim of the (performance) tour is to show the most beautiful sights of the Northern Transdanube. You can participate on the event individually after 1 January 2022 as tourist or as performance-oriented tourist. You have to verify your performance with any bill at the finish and at the start and with selfies or pictures about your bike on the intermediate checkpoints. (See the tour of Tibor Krajnyák HERE as a sample.) The one and only requirement is that the name of the bill's issuer and the time must be properly readable. But it isn't a problem if the centre of the issuer and therefore the settlement on the bill and the settlement of the last checkpoint are different.
3. The start and finish place is only recommendation. You can choose another start/finish place on the route of the tour.
4. There is no time limit if you don't want to finish your tour within 58 hours. In this case you can verify your performance with pictures at the start and finish as well. The results page of the website won't contain your performance only the fact of the successful completion.
5. You don't need to preregister for the tour or for the performance tour. You have to verify your performance after the tour.
6. The diploma can be downloaded from the website after your tour. The registration fee of 6 Euro/2,000 Ft contains the diploma and the official medal of the Randonneurs Hongrie created for this event as well. (The medal will be sent later by post.)
7. If you fulfill all of the 500+ km Hungarian grandtours (Northern Transdanube, Southern Hungary, Northeastern Hungary) successfully in 2021, you obtain the title Super Grandtourist.
8. You have to be self-supporting during the event. So we recommend that you go with a bike in good repair and with good endurance.
9. It is recommended to wear a helmet throughout the event. You must respect and obey the Hungarian traffic laws.
10. Map: Road map of Hungary. We will give you a detailed GPS file.
